1. Who we are

LugRoom ("we", "us", "our") operates the website lugroom.co.za (the "Site"), selling reusable vacuum compression travel bags and related accessories.

By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the Site.

2. Products and pricing

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. We take reasonable care to display accurate pricing and product descriptions, but errors can happen — if we discover a pricing or listing error after you've ordered, we'll contact you before processing the order, and you're free to cancel.

We reserve the right to change prices, discontinue products, or update product descriptions at any time without notice.

3. Orders and payment

Placing an order through the Site is an offer to buy, which we accept when we confirm and process your order. Payment is processed securely through Shopify's payment infrastructure [confirm actual payment gateway(s) in use, e.g. Shopify Payments / PayFast / Yoco]. We don't store your full card details on our own servers.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability. If we cancel an order after payment, you'll receive a full refund.

4. Delivery

We offer free nationwide delivery within South Africa via Aramex. See our Shipping Policy for delivery timelines and details. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once payment has been received in full.

5. Returns, refunds and warranty

See our Refund Policy for our 30-day trip test guarantee and return process. Separately, and regardless of any policy we offer, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), including rights relating to defective goods — nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, to interfere with the Site's operation, or to submit false or misleading information when placing an order.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including the LugRoom name, logo, product photography, and written copy — is owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LugRoom is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or our products, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the CPA or other applicable South African law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts, without prejudice to your rights to approach the National Consumer Commission or an accredited consumer protection body.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
